HEAVIES HEAD BACK TO ST LUCIA THIS SATURDAY


The Red Heavies will clash with Souths this Saturday at St. Lucia in Round 7 of the Queensland Premier Rugby competition.  


With Doughty Shield points from nine games on offer, this will be a crucial round for both clubs. The Heavies currently sit 19 points above the Magpies, so every point will count.


Games will kick off from 8.10am on Saturday with the women at 10.50am and 1st Grade at 3.05pm.   


Come on down to St. Lucia for what is sure to be a massive weekend of club rugby. Ina.La Burger will be front and centre PLUS our coffee cart will be open from early.


Our Club Bar will open at 12 noon with plenty of cold beverages and pies and sausage rolls ready to roll.


See you at Stade De Heavy this Saturday. 

WELSH RUGBY LEGEND TO JOIN THE HEAVIES LUNCH 


We are super excited to announce that Irish and British lion player Jamie Roberts will be one of our special guest speakers at our 24th Annual UQ Rugby Corporate Lunch on the 18th July at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre. 


Jamie is a former Welsh centre (94 caps) and played 3 games for the British and Irish Lions on their 2009 tour of South Africa and 2013 tour of Australia. He also played in the 2011 and 2015 Rugby World Cup. 


Jamie went on to study medicine at Cambridge University and is a doctor. 


We look forward to welcoming Jamie to Brisbane and our lunch in July.
